‘Humanlands_Together for Humanity’ is the title of the show dedicated to the BIE Delegates that was held on Tuesday 20 June evening in Paris, in the prestigious 18th-century venue of the Italian Embassy in Paris.

Not just an event but a true cultural, human and geographical fusion between two great capitals: ours, the Italian one, and the French one, which hosts the BIE and its 179 Delegates. The evening, entirely dedicated to Italy’s candidacy for Expo 2030, had among its guests a great protagonist of the Italian and international music scene, Elisa, one of the most popular producers and musicians, Dardust, and two world-famous choreographers Yoann Bourgeois and Sadeck Waff.

Two are the key elements of the show: water, symbol of connection and life, recounted through the fountains of Villa d’Este that inspired Versailles, and the human connection represented in the extraordinary performances by Bourgeois and Sadek, who have imagined humanity meeting and dialoguing through the language of bodies.

Dardust provided the entire soundtrack for the evening, while Elisa, who has always promoted environmental values, sang some of her most famous songs accompanied by the Sunset String Quintet.

Water games welcomed the performances by Yoann Bourgeois and Sadeck Waff, who, with dancers of different nationalities, lent further lyricism to the show by using only their arms to create icons and key words on the theme of dialogue and the meeting of humanity.

Inside the Embassy, a model of Rome’s project for Expo 2030 and some multimedia installations and robotic arms were also set up to make the BIE Delegates relive the values and characteristics of the bid and masterplan.
